Summer Camp to Enhance Social Skills
For adolescents ages 12 to 17
The Excel Summer Camp is designed to build emotional intelligence in adolescents and assist them with coping skills and creative solutions when facing challenging social situations such as bullying and peer pressure. Our half-day, one to two-week program helps individuals learn coping skills to help them overcome life’s challenges.
Topics will include but are not limited to:
- Building confidence
- Addressing bullying
- Effectively expressing emotions
- Confronting peer pressure
- Processing grief
- Consequences of substance use
- Goal setting
- The Excel Center in Friendswood
- The Excel Center in Katy
This 20 hour-a-week program runs Monday through Friday from 12:45 pm to 4:45 pm for two weeks. Snacks will be provided during the day.
